Terms of sale and license

1. Digital product

Our binders are digital downloads (PDF files). Nothing is shipped. After payment you're taken to a download page. Please save your files right away.

2. Personal-use license

When you buy a binder you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own household. You may:

  • fill it in, save copies and print as many copies as your household needs;
  • print it at a print shop for your own use.

You may not share, resell, redistribute, upload or give away the files (filled or blank), claim them as your own, or use them in a product or service for others. All designs and text remain the property of Just In Case Binders.

3. Refunds

Because digital files can't be returned, all sales are final except for file problems. If your file is damaged, won't open or doesn't match the description, email hello@justincasebinders.com within 30 days of purchase with your PayPal receipt. We'll help you fix it or send a replacement, and if we can't solve the problem, we'll refund you in full.

4. Not legal, medical or financial advice

The binder is an organizer for your own information. It is not legal, medical, financial or tax advice, it is not a will, and it does not create or replace a will, trust, power of attorney, advance healthcare directive or any other legal document. Filling it in gives no one legal authority. Laws vary by location, so consult a qualified professional about your situation.

5. Keeping your information safe

You're responsible for storing your completed binder securely. We recommend never recording passwords, PINs, full Social Security numbers or full account numbers in it, and the binder is designed so you don't need to.

6. Limitation of liability

The binder is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Just In Case Binders isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the binder or the information you record in it. Our total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by PayPal. Prices are in US dollars and may change, but the price you paid at checkout is final.
